Peter completed his medical and postgraduate (Molecular Genetics, Biology and Virology program) studies at the 3rd and 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague, respectively. During his scientific carrier, he has worked at RIKEN Brain Science Institute in Japan, National Institute of Health (National Cancer Institute), and Mayo Clinic in the USA.
Peter became the CEO of Bioinova in 2016.

Ivana completed her studies at the Faculty of Chemical Technology of Pardubice University. For more than 25 years, she has been working in quality control of immunological products manufactured by a Czech pharmaceutical company where she became a Qualified person in 1998.
Ivana is now exploiting her extensive experience in the set up and maintenance of rules for ATMPs production under GMP regimen as well as for harvesting and processing of tissues and cells in the Tissue Establishment regimen. She ensures and guarantees the quality and safety of our products in accordance to the legislation and tightening requirements of the regulatory authorities.

Hana graduated from Animal Physiology and Immunology (MSc.) and Safety and Quality of Medicinal Products (Ph.D.) at Masaryk University in Brno. At the moment, she is a Ph.D. student (Safety and Quality of Medicinal Products) at University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno.
For 4 years, Hana had a research position in the laboratory for Physiology, immunity and ontogenesis of gnotobionts at the Institute of Microbiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Later, she had been working as the CEO executive assistant in the biotechnology company Contipro.
Hana has been working in Bioinova since 2018, where she is responsible for preparation and execution of clinical trials.
Production Department

Jaroslav has studied Cell and Developmental Biology at the Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague. During his academic carrier, his research was focused on integrin signaling in cancer cells at the Faculty of Science and BIOCEV and on mechanic and biochemical properties of cancer cells at the Fridrich-Alexander University Erlangen–Nürnberg in Germany.
Jaroslav joined Bioinovy in 2017 and since December 2017, he is the head of the Production Department. He is also very active in the RnD activities.Production Department, RnD
Dominika graduated at Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague (Cell and Developmental Biology). As a researcher, she worked in BIOCEV, where she studied the degradation of the extracellular matrix during cancer cells migration.
Dominika works in Bioinova since 2017 and greatly contributes to our RnD activities.

Absolvovala Přírodovědeckou fakultu Univerzity Karlovy v Praze, obor Buněčná a vývojová biologie. V průběhu studia se v centru BIOCEV věnovala problematice degradace mezibuněčné hmoty při migraci nádorových buněk. V Bioinově je od roku 2017 v oddělení výroby. Mimo jiné se podílí na výzkumných projektech zaměřujících se na mezenchymálních kmenové buňky a na analýze vzorků s použitím průtokové cytometrie.

Jana graduated at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (Biotechnology of Pharmaceuticals). Within her studies she had been focusing on targeted therapy of cancer and specifically, testing of novel photosensitive molecules in cell cultures. During her last year at the university, she has started to work in Bioinova and subsequently joined the team fulltime in October 2018. Her main RnD focus is cryopreservation of stem cells.

Katerina graduated at the Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague (Biochemistry) and obtained her postdoctoral degree at the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University in Neuroscience. As a visiting fellow, she had positions in Seattle, United States; Budapest, Hungary; and Cologne, Germany.
After her studies, she worked at the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Czech Academy of Sciences for 14 years. Since 2011, Katerina has been the Head of the Quality Control Department, since 2018, Qualified Person in Bioinova. In 2019, she also became Responsible Person for the Tissue Establishment.

Jana studied Food Technology at the Secondary Technical School in Prague. She worked as lab technician at the Department of Biology and Medical Genetics in Faculty Hospital Motol and at the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
Jana joined Bioinova in 2011 where supports the whole manufacturing team. Amongst her main tasks are e.g. microbiological monitoring , sterility validations, etc.
Consultants

Tomas graduated at the Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague (Biochemistry). During his studies, he visited Universitat de València in Spain. He worked at the 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University in the field of anticancer therapy, where he also obtained his postdoctoral degree on mechanism of anticancer therapies in neuroblastomas.
In Bioinova, Tomas has been involved in numerous projects including development of novel product for clinical testing. He has also been responsible for introduction and validation of new methods for QC of the medicinal products.
Tomas has been with Bioinova since 2015 and he is a co-author of several company patents.
