BiCureSol® for Short-Term Cell Storage and Transport

BiCureSol® is a sterile solution designed for the shor-term storage and transport of cells. It preserves cell count, immunophenotype, and viability for at least 72 hours at 2–8 °C, without the use of DMSO or other cryopreservatives. This enables the performance of necessary quality tests as well as the safe transport of advanced therapy medicinal products to the patient. The composition of the solution is protected by international patent EP3454652A4.
Appearance: Clear to slightly opalescent solution, free from turbidity and visible particles
Volume: 9 ± 0.5 ml (GMP grade) or 100 ± 10 ml (RUO)
pH: 7.2–7.4
The viability and immunophenotype of mesenchymal stem cells in BiCureSol® at intervals up to 240 hours at 2–8 °C are shown in the table below. Viability was assessed using propidium iodide staining, while immunophenotype was determined by surface markers CD90, CD73, CD105, CD45, CD34, CD14, CD19, and HLA-DR.

BiCureChill® for Long-Term Cell Storage

BiCureChill® is a sterile solution for cryopreservation of cells. Its very low, non-toxic concentration of DMSO, combined with other carefully selected components, meets GMP requirements while maintaining cell viability, count, and immunophenotype after thawing. The composition of the solution enables immediate administration of thawed cells to patients without the need for additional handling (e.g., washing) and is protected by national patent CZ309446B6.
