The Bi-CoV® sampling kit is used to collect biological material from the front of the nose or oral cavity, and transport the sample to the laboratory for PCR detection of SARS-CoV-2.

The solution in the kit ensures gradual decomposition of viral particles (reduction of virulence by 68.4% after 1 h; by 96.6% after 24 h), release of nucleic acids (RNA) into the solution, and their protection against degradation. The sample arrives in the laboratory PCR-ready, eliminating the need for additional RNA isolation steps.

The Bi-Micro® sampling kit is used to collect biological material from various anatomical sites, and transport of the sample to the laboratory for PCR-based diagnostics.

The solution in the kit ensures gradual decomposition of viral particles and bacterial cells, the release of nucleic acids (DNA/RNA) into the solution, and their protection against degradation. In the laboratory, no DNA/RNA isolation is required, as the sample is already prepared for PCR detection of viruses and bacteria. The sample arrives in the laboratory PCR-ready, eliminating the need for additional DNA/RNA isolation steps.

Designed for near-patient testing, this rapid quantitative immunochromatographic test swiftly distinguishes the cause of incipient respiratory or acute infections, whether viral or bacterial. Based on the detection of the MxA protein, a specific biomarker for viral infections, the test uses a small capillary blood sample. Results are efficiently available within 15 minutes and are quantified using Bi-Reader® (not included in the kit).

Packaging:

The Bi-Reader® is designed for the quantitative evaluation of Bi-VirTest® results. The device measures the signal intensity on the immunochromatographic test and converts it into the analyte concentration in the sample. The measured concentration of the MxA protein in blood is displayed on the device screen.
